Western National Insurance Group Announces New Branding Campaign and Website

Western National Insurance Group announced the launch of their new logo, tagline, marketing materials and web site to their partner independent insurance agents this week. 

Stuart Henderson, President & CEO explains: "We decided to take this opportunity to think about our 'brand' - that is, what do we really stand for, and what is important to us? It all came back to one single question - 'Why does anyone do business with Western?' The unanimous answer of our employees, and our agents, was 'Because of our relationships.' Today, we are in many ways a new company - our financials show that, as does our technology commitment. However, in the ways that really count, we are the same old company - we are still committed to integrity, stability, fairness, and writing all standard Property & Casualty lines of business. Most of all we are committed to the relationships we have with our sole manner of product distribution - the independent agency system." 

Western National updated their logo with new color and style, while retaining the basic "WN" registered trademark. In addition they announced their first "tagline" or "slogan" - "The Relationship Company." The new logo and tagline are featured on their new brochure, entitled "Bringing over a century of experience to every customer we serve." The new brand runs through the Group's web site as well (www.wnins.com). 

Western National Insurance Group consists of two regional Property and Casualty Insurance companies with annual direct written premium in excess of $185 million. Western National Mutual Insurance Company (with headquarters in Edina, Minnesota) has its origins in MN starting in 1900, and currently offers insurance products in Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Western National Assurance Company (with offices in Seattle, Washington) currently offers insurance products in the states of Washington and Oregon. The company distributes its insurance products solely via the Independent Agency distribution system.
