Western National Added to the National Treasury List

(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Mutual Insurance Company of Edina, Minn., today announced that it has been added to the Department of the Treasury's Listing of Certified Surety Companies, also known as the T-List.  Being on the list means Western National can now write bonds for projects that receive Federal funding.  Western National can also work with the many independent contractors and businesses that require a T-Listed surety company.

“We are very proud to be included on the T-List,” said Stuart Henderson, president and chief executive officer of Western National Insurance Group.  “It marks a milestone for our Surety Department, and it opens doors to new Surety bond business that we have been working hard to reach.  We are very excited about the potential for our Surety program going forward.”

Western National Insurance Group, headquartered in Edina, Minn., is a super-regional group of nine active companies serving the property-and-casualty insurance needs of individuals, families, and businesses.  The group’s products are sold exclusively through professional independent agents in 13 states in the Midwestern, Northwestern, and Southwestern U.S.
