Western National Hires New Vice President - Human Resources
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., today announced that Lori A.M. Smith, has joined the companies as Vice President – Human Resources. In this role, Smith will be responsible for all of the HR-related areas in all WNIG companies.
Currently an independent HR/Business Consultant, Smith has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in human resources and compensation management, including positions at Comm-Works, LLC; Piper Jaffray Co; Skyline Displays, Inc.; Gelco Information Network; and several other Minnesota companies.
Smith earned her B.S. in Human Resources & Management from the University of Minnesota. She has also completed the Mini-MBA program at the University of St. Thomas.
