Updated Pricing Tiers Now Available for Utah
Western National is pleased to announce that the updated commercial lines pricing tier structure for Utah is now available for policies beginning with effective dates of May 1, 2018 and later. This update enables us to preserve competitive rates for our low-to-medium-hazard business while also better matching price to risk for all policyholders.
Going forward, Western National Assurance will be our preferred tier for our low-to-medium-hazard business, Western National Mutual will be our standard tier, and Pioneer Specialty will be our program business tier. With this update, many policies will transfer to a new pricing tier, and policyholders will see a different company on their policy documents. If a policy moves to a new tier, the policyholder will receive a notice 60 days prior to their renewal date that explains this change. To view an example of this notice, click here. Please note that Western National will only be notifying the policyholder and not any additional interests.
Since our companies are pooled together within the Western National Insurance Group, this change in companies will not affect the financial rating, backing, and protection your policyholders currently experience.
