Process Update for BOP Applications in the Western Region (ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA)
As we continue to grow our Businessowners Policy (BOP) business in our Western Region, along with the related ancillary lines, the volume of business and the time to process that business has created a change in how we will process BOP applications going forward.
To utilize the efficiency of our online BOP system for you and our employees, we are requiring our agency partners to obtain BOP quotes instantly from our system. Effective immediately, all BOP new business applications must be submitted by our agency partners in AgentsOnline. The benefits include:
- Not waiting for Western National to submit the quote back to you
- Our employees can better focus on serving the needs of our agency partners, including continuing to quote the ancillary lines related to your BOP business
- Continuing to receive a quick quote indication of the pricing (before entering the full quote)
- Continuing to receive timely service if a quote requires underwriting referral
- Continuing to allow agents up to 25% schedule credit depending on the merits of the risk
