Introducing New Inland Marine and Commercial Auto Coverages (IA, IL, MN, ND, SD, WI)

We are pleased to announce that Western National is offering new Inland Marine and Commercial Auto coverages for new and renewal business. Please see below for details.

Inland Marine Builders’ Risk and Installation Coverage Floater – Effective May 1, 2019

Western National has adopted the AAIS Inland Marine Builders’ Risk and Installation Floater Form (IM 7053), effective May 1, 2019. This form contains Builders’ Risk and Installation coverages in one coverage form, along with coverage extensions and supplemental coverages. Coverage extensions include debris removal, emergency removal, emergency removal expenses, and fraud and deceit. There are 15 additional supplemental coverages, including fire department service charges, personal property, and transit. This new floater is designed to be used for risks that include both Builders’ Risk and Installation exposures and is available in addition to our other coverage forms.

Business Auto Enhancement Edge Endorsement – Effective June 1, 2019

We are pleased to introduce the new Business Auto Enhancement Edge Endorsement (WN CA 80 06 19) for use with the Business Auto Coverage Form (CA 00 01 10 13), effective June 1, 2019. This Edge endorsement contains all the coverage found in our current Business Auto Enhancement Endorsement (WN CA 27 06 16), with four additional coverages:

1. Audio, Visual and Data Electronic Equipment ($2,500 limit)
2. Temporary Substitute Physical Damage
3. Limited Towing ($250 per disablement with an aggregate of $2,500 per year for all vehicle types)
4. Primary and Non-contributory Language if Required by a Written Contract or Written Agreement

Please note that the Business Auto Enhancement Edge Endorsement cannot be used with the current Business Auto Enhancement Endorsement (WN CA 27 06 16) and is not available with the Motor Carrier Coverage Form (CA 00 20 10 13) or the Auto Dealers Coverage Form (CA 00 25 10 13).
