Western National Insurance Group Appoints John P. Buckley to Senior Management Team as Senior Vice President
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group today announced the appointment of John P. Buckley, J.D., CPCU as Senior Vice President of Claims, and as the newest member of Western National Insurance Group’s Senior Management team.
Mr. Buckley joined the companies in 1995 as a Claims Attorney. Since that time, his responsibility for oversight of the Western National Claims Legal Team has broadened considerably. In 2014, Buckley was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Claims, and then in 2019 to Vice President of Claims. Most recently he has assumed responsibility for the parent company’s Property Claims group, the Special Investigations Unit, and for claims operations at subsidiary company Legacy Insurance. In his new role as Senior Vice President, Buckley will oversee the entire Claims Division and will report directly to Rick Long, President of the Western National Insurance Group.
