Western National Wisconsin Dwelling Property Program Revisions – Eff. 9-1-2019
We recently completed a regular review of Western National’s Dwelling Property program in Wisconsin. As a result of this review and feedback from agency partners like you, the following program updates and rate revision are effective September 1, 2019.
New! Personal Property Replacement Cost Loss Settlement – WN DP 34 09 19
This new optional coverage provides replacement cost coverage on personal property.
Theft Endorsement (New Dwellings Under Construction) – WN DP 04 09 19
This optional endorsement provides coverage for theft of building materials. It has a maximum period of coverage of 12 months (compared to six months on the old form) and a variable limit selected by the policyholder (instead of maximum limit of $10,000 for any one loss).
Dwelling Property Rate Revision
Recent trends indicate that a rate adjustment is needed. Rates for Wisconsin Dwelling Property policies will increase +6.8% overall on new and renewal business. However, individual policy premium will increase or decrease based on the specific characteristics of the insured exposure.
