Western National Insurance Wisconsin Home and Dwelling Program Updates

Western National Insurance remains committed to fully supporting our personal lines products and business in all of our states of operation. Recent market and weather trends make it necessary for us to make adjustments to our Home and Dwelling programs in order to ensure their ongoing viability. The following update to our programs will go into effect for new business only this Sunday, October 8:

Minimum wind / hail deductibles will be increased. In the last few years, the frequency and severity of hail losses has greatly increased. To help address this issue, we are requiring Home policies with a Coverage A limit of $1 million or greater to have a minimum wind / hail deductible of $5,000. Lower deductibles on business quoted prior to October 8, and effective in the next 30 days will be honored for the first term of the policy.

Implementing this update will help to sustain our personal lines insurance products for the long-term so our mutual customers can continue to count on Western National to meet their insurance needs. If you have any questions about this update, please contact your Regional Agency Manager. Thank you for your continued partnership.
