Minnesota Personal Auto Rate Revision – Eff. 12-15-2022
Products Impacted:
Inflation and supply chain issues have caused a significant increase in the average cost of personal auto claims across the industry. These market issues have resulted in continuously rising severity of personal auto claims for Western National customers, and our new auto products are not immune. Adjustment to our rates is a necessary part of addressing the impact of these increased costs.
Effective December 15, 2022, rates in Minnesota will increase 7.9% overall in our Select and Signature Auto products. The exact premium impact by policy will vary based on the specific characteristics of the insured exposure.
