Upcoming Security Update: Multi-Factor Authentication for Policyholder and Agent Portals
Dear agency partners,
To enhance the security of our online accounts, Western National is introducing multi-factor authentication (MFA). This new security feature adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second verification step when agents and policyholders log into their account.
Please note that MFA will be rolled out in phases. It is currently being implemented for newly registered policyholders and newly appointed agents only.
- Newly registered policyholders: MFA will first be introduced in the evening of December 9, 2025.
- Newly appointed agents: MFA will first be introduced in the evening of December 16, 2025.
Existing policyholders and agents will migrate to the new MFA process in early 2026.
What You Need to Know
- When agents and policyholders first register for portal access, they will automatically be prompted to set up MFA as part of creating their online account.
