Coming Soon – Umialik’s New Policy Administration System
Umialik is excited to announce the upcoming launch of Guidewire as our new policy administration system for commercial lines.
With our move to the Guidewire platform, we will be transforming the online experience for our agents, policyholders, and underwriters. This new platform will bring enhanced functionality and ease of use and will allow Umialik to better serve our agency partners with faster response times and increased flexibility.
At our annual Agency Summit in early March, we previewed some of these changes and shared that the first supported lines on the new platform will be new business for Commercial Auto and Workers’ Compensation. New portal functionality, including payment and inquiry capabilities, will be rolled out at the same time as these two products.
The remaining commercial lines of business will be added to the new platform in 2025. The process of converting current policies to our new system as they renew will follow once all lines are available.
