Umialik’s Parent Group Named to 2021 Ward's Top 50
We are pleased to announce that Umialik’s parent group, Western National Insurance Group, has once again been named to the Ward's 50 Benchmark Group of top performing U.S. property-and-casualty companies. Being named to this group recognizes Western National for achieving outstanding financial results in the areas of safety, consistency, and performance over a five-year period (2016 - 2020). This is the 16th time in the past 17 years (and the 13th consecutive year) that Western National has been named to this list of top performers.
This recognition highlights not only solid business planning but also the hard work of our employees and our partner agents, whose production and service efforts have significantly impacted our ability to maintain financial strength and stability. These attributes are so important because they provide improved security for policyholders and the opportunity to invest in our people and our business to better serve our customers.
