Umialik Insurance Company Announces Internet Explorer Deprecation Plans
Dear Agency Partner,
Umialik Insurance Company is committed to providing the best customer experience for our agency partners when accessing our Agent Portal, AgentsOnline.
Internet Explorer does not support many of the new technologies that Umialiks’s development teams are utilizing and ultimately limits the experience we are able to offer our agency network. As part of our commitment to continue providing new features and tools in AgentsOnline, our development staff will focus their efforts moving forward on developments for modern web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.). In addition to new features, we believe these browsers offer the best user experience, perform better, and present fewer issues for the user.
As a result of much research and discussion, Umialik will be ceasing future enhancements to AgentsOnline in Internet Explorer but will support issues reported by our agency network to the best of our ability. All future enhancements will be available in modern web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and we are asking that our agency partners utilize a modern web browser to access AgentsOnline in order to take advantage of all functionality moving forward.
As mentioned, Internet Explorer will be supported for bugs and issues going forward.
To help with the transition, we have included links below to resource centers for the previously mentioned modern web browsers to assist with transferring bookmarks, setting your default browser, as well as general frequently asked questions.

We are excited about upcoming features for AgentsOnline – we know that it will enhance the agent experience with Umialik.
