We are excited to welcome Nick Lukson to Western National as Vice President and General Manager in Seattle. Nick will be based in our Seattle office, reporting to Jeff Couchman and will be taking over the management role for that office. In this role, Nick will oversee the day-to-day underwriting operations, including both underwriting and underwriting support, with Commercial Lines Underwriting Managers and the Commercial Lines Support Manager in Seattle reporting to Nick.

 

Nick comes to Western National with over 20 years of property-and-casualty experience. Prior to joining Western National, he was the Underwriting and Marketing Manager for Griffin Underwriting Services. Before that, he held various management roles within Safeco Insurance, which then became Liberty Mutual Group. Nick earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, in addition to having earned the CPCU, ARM, AIM, AAI, and AU designations.
