     An internship with the Application Development Team in the company’s IT Department.

    Computer Science.

 

4. One thing I learned while interning at Western National…

    The IT Department requires a particularly great deal of cooperation—and therefore communication—
    in order to maintain efficiency.

 

5. Favorite thing to do in the summer is…

    Of everything I did this summer, I most enjoyed traveling to Madison, WI to be with my best friend for
    the Fourth of July.

 

6. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

    Number 1 on my list is Los Angeles because it’s been characterized as the most “vegan-
    friendly” city on the planet.

 

7. If I were a blogger, I would write about…

    Anything (and probably everything) related to veganism: health, ethics, logical consistency, etc.

 

8. Favorite app on my phone is…

    HappyCow (an app that tells me what restaurants near me or other locations that best cater to
    vegans/vegetarians) because it brings me to good-quality restaurants with cuisines that I really
    like and would never have tried otherwise.
