Reminder Regarding Umialik Insurance Company COVID-19 Updates

As was shared in the April 15 communication regarding Umialik’s Personal Auto Premium Relief Program, Umialik has taken several steps regarding both premium relief and payment flexibility to our customers in need.

We wanted to remind you that through June 1, 2020, we will not be canceling Personal Lines policies due to non-payment of premium. However, please note that coverage provided by policies recently issued a renewal will end upon the expiration of the current term if the renewal is not paid, or if we have not received a communication that the insured wishes to continue coverage with Umialik. Policyholders that wish to renew their coverage may call us to discuss options for extending coverage.

Please contact your Personal Lines Underwriter or Regional Agency Manager if you would like to receive a list of expired renewals to help you in confirming that policyholders have the coverage they need.
