2016 Volunteer Recap

Western National is strongly committed to the communities in which we do business, and so too are our employees. Through their incredible generosity in the form of donations, fundraisers, and volunteerism, our employees showcase the values of Western National and bring our mission statement to life.

Between Western National’s offices in Edina, Seattle, and Anchorage, there were 29 employee fundraisers and 38 different volunteer opportunities offered in 2016. An impressive 244 employees volunteered 1,730 hours of service. In addition, employees donated $12,889 and our Group donated $347,751 to organizations (nominated by our employees) that aim to improve the lives of people in need of food, shelter, clothing, etc., or who find themselves in situations where meeting the basic necessities of life is difficult.

We extend our thanks and appreciation to those who volunteered and donated this year, and we look forward to continuing to grow these numbers in the years ahead.
