Governor’s Fire Prevention Day at the Minnesota State Fair is Friday, August 27. The event is sponsored by the Insurance Federation of Minnesota (IFM), and it is the largest fire prevention event in the world. Governor’s Fire Prevention Day provides opportunities for families to learn about fire-safe behavior, fire prevention, safe escape from a fire, as well as technological improvements in burn treatment and firefighting equipment.
