Western National Welcomes Pete Corning to Management Team
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., today announced that Peter H. Corning, CPA has joined the group as Senior Vice President of Finance.
Corning, formerly a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Insurance & Asset Management divisions at CUNA Mutual Group, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has over 20 years of experience working with the insurance industry, first on the auditing side for Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and later on the carrier side in financial management roles at Washington National Corporation and then CUNA Mutual Group.
