Western National Promotes Eric Ellefson to Vice President
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., today announced that it has promoted Eric Ellefson to the new position of Vice President of Commercial Lines Underwriting – Central Region, effective immediately.
In this new role, Eric will be responsible for overseeing all commercial lines underwriting and operations, including loss control, in the group's Central Region. This region currently includes the states of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Ellefson joined Western National in 1989 after receiving his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. In his tenure with the company, he has held positions in both finance and underwriting, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President – Commercial Lines Underwriting.
