Star Tribune Names Western National a 2021 Top 175 Workplace
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., today announced that it has been named one of the Top 175 Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee survey project from the Star Tribune. Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction.
Being named a Top 175 Workplace is an honor that is determined by a company’s employees. The award is based on employee opinions regarding company leadership, workplace environment, benefits, pay, career opportunities, communication, and managerial skills. Nearly 3,000 companies were invited to participate in this process, and Western National was one that stood out among the crowd.

The Top 175 Workplaces are ranked each year by the Star Tribune to recognize the most progressive companies in the state. This includes public, private, and nonprofit organizations. The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 175 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.
