Star Tribune Names Western National a 2024 Top 200 Workplace
(Minneapolis, Minn.) Western National Insurance Group (WNIG) of Edina, Minn., today announced that it has been named one of the Top 200 Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee survey project from the Star Tribune. Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction.
“Being recognized as a Top Workplace serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment Western National shows to being an employer of choice, and is an immense source of pride,” said Rick Long, President and CEO of Western National Insurance Group. “We would like to extend a huge thank you to our committed team members, for sharing their valuable insights and perspectives. Their continued participation has been vital in assessing our current strengths and opportunities to evolve into a better version of ourselves going forward.”
The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Over 5,000 companies were invited to participate. Scores were calculated purely on the basis of employee responses. The analysis included responses from over 149,176 employees at public, private, and nonprofit organizations in Minnesota.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
