Western National was a sponsor of this year’s 24th Annual Bedrace for Bridging on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Buck Hill in Burnsville, MN. The Bedrace for Bridging is an incredibly popular community event that raises money for Bridging. As part of the sponsorship, Western National employees, friends, and family participated.

On Friday, March 4, Western National employees volunteered at Thomas Beach on Lake Bde Maka Ska for the Special Olympics Cool School Polar Plunge. This event is designed specifically for schools and aims to teach youth about inclusion. Students, staff, and families have the opportunity to participate in this fun and educational experience with Special Olympics Minnesota.
In March, the Western National Insurance Group wrapped up a month-long food drive, where employees in our Anchorage, Edina, and Seattle offices donated over 900 pounds of goods to Food Bank of Alaska, VEAP, and North Helpline. We are proud to support these organizations and to contribute to the meaningful work that they do for our local communities.
